KITEKAHUNAS is looking for instructors who can teach Course A beginner lessons and, ideally, advanced B, C and D modules, ocean riding, downwinders, wave courses and wave kitesurfing camps.

  • Teach Course A, the three-day beginner kitesurfing course.
  • Teach A+B+C+D beginner crash courses up to riding upwind and starting to jump.
  • Coach ocean riding, downwinders and safe progression in Cape Town conditions.
  • Teach wave courses for wave novices and support wave camps for experienced riders.
  • Ride with students, demonstrate posture, turns and techniques, and give radio feedback.
  • Prepare kites, radios, helmets and school equipment before lessons.
  • Report damages and help keep the school and equipment room organised.

Profile: strong kitesurfing level, teaching experience, friendly customer service, safe judgement in ocean conditions and a practical attitude around school equipment and daily operations.

Chief Kitesurfing Instructor

For senior instructors with leadership, training and wave-kitesurfing experience.

The Chief Instructor leads the instructor team on wind days, supervises teaching quality, supports customer satisfaction and helps maintain the KITEKAHUNAS teaching methodology for beginner, advanced and wave kitesurfing courses.
