Kitesurfing Bed and Breakfast Cape Town

For your kitesurfing holiday inkl. breakfast in Sunset Beach - Cape Town!

Nestled between the Milnerton Links Golf Course and the sleepy waters of Rietvlei Reserve, lies Cape Town’s best kept secret: the upmarket seaside village of Sunset Beach. This prestigious suburb, flanked by stretches of sandy beaches, is home to this spacious bed and breakfast guesthouse, just 250 metres from the beach.
Only 14 kilometres from Cape Town’s city centre, and home to one of the world’s top kitesurfing destinations. This place is ideal to stay for corporate guests and holidaymakers alike.
Our close proximity to Cape Town city centre means guests can enjoy the wide assortment of activities and attractions that the mother city has to offer. Take a harbour tour at the V&A Waterfront, visit Robben Island and the Two Oceans Aquarium, ride the cable car to the top of Table Mountain, visit all array of conferences and exhibitions at the CTICC, hop on the Cape Town City Sightseeing Bus for peninsula tours, visit art galleries, or head up the West Coast to explore stretches of nature reserves and biodiversity.

For the thrill seekers out there, Cape Town offers sandboarding, skydiving, shark cage diving and of course kitesurfing. Sunset Beach, Dolphin Beach (5 minutes’ drive) and Kite Beach (5 minutes’ drive) are some of the most sought after beaches for kite surfing because of the prevailing South Easter wind. The long stretches of white sand beaches are ideal for arranging kiteboarding lines, with ample space for launching and landing. The villa is a 3-minute walk to the beach, so most of our kitesurfing guests simply kit up at the guesthouse and then walk to the beach. In the summer months, many kitesurfers can be seen surfing downwind races from Milnerton Beach (5 minutes’ drive) to Big Bay beach (10 minutes’ drive) where shuttle services – specifically catering to kite surfers – take them back to their cars.
What can be more idyllic than kiteboarding at Sunset Beach with uninterrupted views of Table Mountain in the background while the sun dips behind Robben Island at sunset? Enjoy an ice cold beer around the pool after your surf.

The Villa is close to two idyllic links-style golf courses, and a mere 15 minute drive away from the Durbanville Winelands. And for the foodies out there, Cape Town is on the global map for some of it’s fine dining restaurants. Our concierge service will be able to advise on restaurants that cater to every taste.
The Villa in Sunset Beach has 8 rooms, most of which open out onto our sparkling pool. Rose and Deaglan welcome you for a scrumptious full breakfast in our sunny breakfast room.
Let your Cape Town stay be one you’ll never forget!

Opening the door to Africa

Although the wind in Cape Town almost never stops in season, there might be windless days during your kitesurfing holidays. But don't worry … you are in Africa and there is lots to do. You may even plan to stay for another week after your advanced kitesurfing course (you may want to book one of our kitesurfing holiday apartments), to see Africa's great attractions… or simply visit these in the afternoons after you are "kited out".

In Cape Town you can do dolphin-watching tours or whale watching trips … Africa's wildlife and nature is abundant. If you want to turn away from the Oceans for a moment, you will want to visit a nature reserve and encounter the BIG 5 - elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards are awaiting you, next to giraffes, zebras, bucks and hippopotamus, to name just a few.

And not to forget, Cape Town and the region have the most picturesque views in the world. Mountain hiking, paragliding or flying is popular here and absolutely unforgettable.
